1.incur vt.

招致,引起

eg.Janet incurred her boyfriend's anger for telling a lie.

珍妮特因为说谎而惹怒了男朋友。

2.indefinite adj.

模糊的;不明确的

eg.You should give the worker a deadline,not an indefinite time,to finish this work.

你应该给工人规定一个完成工作的最后日期,而不是给他们一 个不明确的时间。

3.independence n.

独立,自主

eg.The rebels fought to win independence for their country.

反抗者为赢得国家的独立而战斗。

4.indignant adj.

办(因错事或不公正的事而)愤怒的,愤慨的

eg.He was indignant when his girlfriend didn't show up at his mother's birthday party.
