RE: Service Card Account 7878-9033-9933
Dear Ms. Garcia:
Three weeks ago, on November 20, I sent a payment of $ 200 to the Service Card Company. However, when I received my last billing statement, dated November 30, that payment had still not been credited. What is more, I was charged a $ 15 late fee for failure to pay.
Would you please verify your receipt of that payment and see that I am credited it the full amount? Once the first discrepancy is remedied, please subtract the $ 15 late fee erroneously added to my balance.
I mailed the payment 10 days before the due date(as I usually do), so the Service Card Company should have received my check in plenty of time to apply the payment before the closing date for November's statement.
Enclosed is a copy of my check carbon, on which is imprinted the check that I wrote to the Service Card 3 weeks ago.
