World AIDS Day

Aroundthe worldon December1, people marked World AIDS Day. On social media, imagesof red ribbons took over news feeds. Red ribbonsare a symbolof supportfor people living with HIV. Thirty-seven million people aroundthe worldare living withthe disease.

The World AIDS Day organization createdthe hashtag#RethinkHIV. It also created social media postsfor people to share, in hopes of helping people better understand HIV.

Three years after his viralmusic video Gangnam Style, South Korean pop star Psy is back in the spotlight.

He releaseda new video, Daddy, on Monday. His new album cameout on Tuesday. It is called“Psy7th album.”

Like Gangnam Stylethe lyricsof Psy’s new songsare in Englishand Korean. Fans call his Daddy video justas crazyas his2012 viral hit.

Daddy received6 million viewson YouTubein 24 hours. Although thoseare impressive numbers, Psy toldAFP he thinksthere’s “no chance” that Daddywill reachthe successof Gangnam Style.

Gangnam Stylewas the first YouTube videoto reach1 billion views. Today, it is stillthe most-watched YouTube video ever.
